Happy new month people!
I’m supposed to have posted this on the last day of February but due to some reasons I was unable to. How was your month? This month for me was like a surprise hamper; there was the good, the bad and the not so fabulous.
I went internship hunting this month. Suffice it to say, it is not an easy task. Thankfully, I landed one for my unusual time frame. Hallelujah! I also got into another school for a course I thought I wanted to do. I’m not doing the course again though. With the help of my loved ones I decided to stick to the other masters course I initially deferred.

I went for lunch at Ocean Basket, VI. The service there is amazing. The food was really nice too, and I was really surprised when said food came in shiny metal frying pans instead of plates.

I need to mention that Sweet Sensation at Pinnacle filling station, Oniru, VI, Lagos, has the best sausage, scotch egg and donut rivalled only by the Mr Biggs of old. However their meat pie needs more work. Mr Biggs at Mobil filling station, Oregun, Lagos, has the best meat pie.
Trust me to have had sharwarma this month. I had two from Shuttles in Novare (my usual place), one from Farmcity in Lekki phase 1 and one from Adiba in VI. Every bite was worth it. No complaint whatsoever. Special shout out though to the Farmcity one. It was fat, filling and well prepared.
I also had better Amala, Ewedu and Stew at a mini restaurant/ modern bukha called Beleful in Lekki. Not only is the food sublime, the prices are extremely pocket friendly. I had consumed my meal before I realized I hadn’t taken a picture. so I took a picture of the ceiling.😬

I finally saw Season One Mall, Lekki, where umbrellas were used to create a shade for vehicles.

This month unfortunately, a few people I knew died. One died while crossing an expressway; she was about my age. These deaths have made me realize that life is very unpredictable, and that everyday should be lived with joy, happiness, and in the company of loved ones.
Presidential elections in Nigeria came, got postponed 3 hours to the time by a week, and then came again. On my way to work this week I saw for the first time in my life a female bus conductor. She was shouting, “CMS! Obalende! Marwa! Lekki!” While hanging on to the open entrance of the bus. I was in awe. Go woman! I also climbed the new pedestrian bridge at Marwa, Lekki. The people who designed them really thought. While ascending it just feels like you are walking on slightly elevated levels, instead of climbing stairs. This is also a public service announcement to everyone: STOP CROSSING ROADS WHEN PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES ARE AVAILABLE. USE THE BRIDGE. Except if it’s unsafe.

On the 28th of February I had one major item on my to-do list: get to Coldstone Lagos, for the Squad promo or get someone to get it. Let’s just say, item ice-cream ✔.

This month of March I have faith that a lot of the things I’m believing God for would happen. I’m also gradually getting ready for school and working on several things to improve myself. Remember you have only one life to live, so live like you’re loved.
Till next time,
Bye!
